The Demonstrator Kits family of products is designed with a deliberate intention to spread the knowledge and proliferate adoption of MEMS Mirror based system solutions throughout the industry as well as to educate next generation of product designers. This product family offers a wealth of different systems intended for rapid development and prototyping. All products are a combination of friendly to use hardware and software, designed intelligently for use directly from the box, equipped with USB interface and all accessories needed to unleash potential of our mature technology.

Mirrorcle offers a wide portfolio of solution Demonstrator Kits to allow customers to experiment with Mirrorcle’s MEMS mirror solutions for various applications with minimal upfront development.

DEMO-01 Laser Tracking and Scan Module Demonstrator Kit

The Laser Tracking and Scan Module Demonstrator Kit is a plug-and-play kit with a MEMS-mirror based Scan Module, USB MEMS Controller, and a Photosensor.

The kit is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Mirrorcle’s MEMS mirror and controller with simple Windows based applications. Users may programmatically steer a laser over a field of regard of ~32° x 32° and more. In conjunction with the Photosensor it offers additional capabilities of tracking and imaging.

DEMO-02 Laser Scan and Camera Sense Demonstrator Kit

The Laser Scan and Camera Sense Demonstrator Kit is a plug-and-play kit with a MEMS-mirror based Scan Module, USB MEMS Controller, and a USB 3.0 Camera.

The kit is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Mirrorcle’s MEMS mirror and controller with simple Windows based applications. Users may programmatically steer a laser over a field of regard of ~32° x 32° and more. In conjunction with the camera it offers additional capabilities of tracking and addressing objects in camera’s field of view with a laser.

DEMO-04 Video Rate Projection and Imaging Demonstrator Kit

DEMO-04 kit combines the following items to provide users with the capability of flexible and programmable video-rate laser projection or laser-based imaging/sensing

  • MEMS Pair Module (MPM) with video-rate scanning MEMS mirrors
  • Laser module with small beam diameter and divergence and video-rate modulation capability
  • FPGA-based USB MEMS Controller
  • Breadboarding for easy experimentation
  • Matlab based GUI application for scan parameter exploration
  • Windows application for demonstration
  • Software Support Hours

DEMO-06 3D Scanning Demonstrator Kit

The 3D Scanning Demonstrator Kit is a plug-and-play kit with a MEMS-mirror based Scan Module, USB MEMS Controller, and a USB 3.0 Camera.

The kit is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Mirrorcle’s MEMS mirror and controller with simple Windows based applications to provide Programmable Illumination for 3D Scanning applications. Users may programmatically steer a laser over a field of regard of ~32° x 32° and more. In conjunction with the camera it offers additional capabilities of imaging and 3D metrology of objects in camera’s field of view with a laser.

DEMO-07 SyMPL MEMS Mirror 3D LiDAR Demonstrator Kit

The SyMPL MEMS Mirror 3D LiDAR is a plug-and-play LiDAR with the SyMPL 3D LiDAR system and software applications.

The kit is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Mirrorcle’s Synchronized MEMS Pair LiDAR (“SyMPL”) architecture and to experience the aspect of programmable scanning for LiDAR applications.
